Charlie Yang is a seasoned mineral valuation expert with over 15 years of experience in mineral valuation, financial analysis, modeling, due diligence, and natural resource investment consulting. Well-versed in global capital market practices, he provides comprehensive corporate finance consulting and valuation insights, supporting IPOs, M&As, debt financing, FIFO, and offtake agreements. Known for his professional, innovative, and tailored approach, he advises senior decision-makers across industries. Charlie holds prestigious qualifications, including the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) designation, and is a member of AusIMM with Chartered Professional Valuer (CP(Val)) status. He is also a Certified Mineral Valuer (AIMVA), a Chartered Valuer and Appraiser (IVAS), and holds significant leadership roles as the Chief Representative for the Australia Mining Association in Hong Kong and Singapore and as a special committee member for RICS mining valuation standards. His extensive work experience spans major financial hubs such as Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Sydney, where he has conducted over 100 mineral resource valuations in more than 30 countries worldwide. Charlie’s career includes roles as a metals research analyst for a major international investment bank and as the founder of a mineral valuation and transaction consulting department within a Hong Kong-listed financial group.
